The 2012 election is old news. I meant to post this earlier. 🙂
7-Eleven was running something cute where when you went to get coffee at just about all of their stores in the US, you could pick an Obama cup or Romney cup to show your support. 7-Eleven’s website had constantly updated results of how they thought the vote would go by area, based on cup purchases. Click to enlarge:
They broke it down by city, so this is the city of San Francisco. 7-Eleven predicted Obama would get 68% and Romney would get 32%.
I didn’t see election results by California city, but I did find county. San Francisco County had quite the landslide, and I’m not surprised. Obama 83.4%, Romney 13.0%, and others 3.4%.
In 2016, make sure you get your 7-Eleven cups. Let’s see how close they can get with their stats. Who will be in the 2016 election? If I had to guess, I would say Hillary Clinton vs a Republican nobody’s heard of now in January 2013. They still have to build that person to be moderate and conservative and Tea Party but friendly to minorities.
