Who Should Attend
This workshop would be great for anybody new or relatively new to Axure as well as people looking to learn more intermediate/advanced prototyping skills.
- Interaction designers, visual designers, product designers.
- Product managers, product owners.
- UX and Creative leads, managers, directors.
- Anyone who is evaluating Axure or already using it.
Not a beginner to Axure?
Our classes are for you too. You may have to suffer through some things you already know. But so far, EVERY beginner or intermediate Axure user has been thrilled to learn new things in our classes. They’ve also been excited about learning better and more efficient ways to do things they thought they knew.
None really! We want to welcome everybody at all levels. You should know what x and y coordinates are. Other than that, our typically trainee is someone who opened Axure, looked at it, got scared, and closed it.
Prerequisites for Mobile App and Advanced Skills
You must have taken our Core Skills class in person, remotely, or from our instructional videos. This is an advanced class and there won’t be time to refresh people on core skills.
Hey, I’m great with Axure. Can’t I just take your advanced courses? If you’re that confident, go ahead. But we won’t have time to stop to teach you Core Skills like global visual styling, interaction styles, basic conditional logic, dynamic panels, etc…
Bring your laptop with Axure loaded and build a prototype along with your trainer. Trial versions are also OK.
For remote, webinar-style classes, we suggest two screens: one for what your trainer is doing, one to work along with your trainer. One huge screen split in two will also work.
Video Workshop Included
No need to take notes during our course unless you like taking notes. With our video courses broken into short lessons, you’ll easily be able to find any lesson you want to see again.
Payment, Cancellation, & Other Terms
Most companies are willing to pay for Axure training as part of personal and career development. Check with the boss! This might be covered.
Early bird pricing ends one month before Day 1 of the workshop starts.
VAT is charged on all of our training outside North America.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
If you can substitute your registration for someone else, you will not be charged a cancellation fee (nor will you receive a refund).
If you cancel on or before 1 month from the class start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 1 month of the class start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee.
Each attendee who completes a workshop and requests a certificate will receive a certificate of completion from Ptype.
Axure doesn’t allow any company to give a certificate that says something like, “Certified Axure Professional,” so the best we can do is a completion certificate from our company.
About Your Trainer
Ptype principal and your trainer, Debbie Levitt, is an Interaction Designer and Information Architect (when not training people on Axure). As someone using Axure for work nearly daily since early 2011, her instruction style incorporates her experiences, tips, and best practices. She has created customized curricula and trained individuals, startups, agencies, and corporations.
Debbie's first public training course was in 1995 when she was 23 years old. She taught school teachers how to build web pages with HTML and why they're not supposed to steal images off other people's websites. Debbie has been teaching Axure since 2012 and is proud to be one of the few Axure-recommended trainers on the planet.
Ptype has provided training for:
